  1. A Novel Mixed-Integer Linear Programming Framework for AC Optimal Power Flow and Voltage Stability in Renewable-Rich Power Systems

Garth Greubel, Bhanu Pillay, Akhtar Kalam and Amit Agarwal

    IEEE Access, Volume 14, pp. 116170–116197 · 2026

    DOI 10.1109/ACCESS.2026.3716867

Presents a novel mixed-integer linear programming formulation for multi-period AC optimal power flow that preserves active and reactive power interactions while modelling the full nonlinear AC network behaviour accurately. The framework supports combined cost and voltage-stability optimisation for renewable-rich grids and microgrid systems.
